eForwardActive advisor represents a new series of trading systems. This expert class constitutes algorithms able to calculate phases of trend closures and to open in the opposite direction to the previous trend. There are several versions of the advisor. The first one was available to traders late last summer. Since then, developers have been constantly trying to update the algorithm and introduce new versions. For example, eForwardActive Lite advisor is a version of the system that uses a special (simplified) system of position sizing. This innovation allows to achieve more sustainable results during market phases that are hard to forecast.
Some dealers offer trading advisor that can operate even when the computer (terminal) is turned off. In these cases the system connects to a server and operates autonomously. It is worth noting that you should set the level of simulation at 99.9% when testing historical data of advisor’s Lite version. Only in this case you can expect more or less adequate results. Below the results of trade on a real account are shown. In this example, eForwardActive advisor trades the following currency pairs: GBP/USD, EUR/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, NZD/USD, and EUR/GBP.
The next image shows a table with the total results in long and short positions.
Advisor’s operating principle description
As it was already mentioned earlier in this article, the algorithm is looking for signals of the trend closure and then selects the best entry point in the opposite direction. Identification of trading models is based on indicator analysis. Here both standard and built-in algorithm indicators are used. If the position is open, but the market moves in unfavorable direction, the adviser continues to look for signs of a trend change or correction, and then reopens with an average order. In the Lite version positions close by listing paired orders. Similar technology is also used by the eForwardMoving advisor.
The first versions of the expert were created for quite an aggressive trading. The main purpose was to receive abnormal profit. eForwardActive Lite advisor is a more conservative solution. After a careful optimization, the developers came to conclusion that the system of money management should be more loyal.
You can work with the advisor starting at the standard account of $200. Time period is H1. When working with an expert, you can use multiple configuration options of currency pairs. Actually, eForwardActive Lite advisor implies using seven currency pairs – GBP/USD, EUR/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, NZD/USD, USD/CAD, and EUR/GBP. Each tool has its individual settings which are automatically activated when the advisor connects to the chart. The trader just needs to specify the value of the original lot.
